Member societies
AOECS currently has 41 full member societies, one associated member and five affiliate members worldwide.
These member societies in their turn represent approximately 300 000 persons who have chosen to support their local society.
Membership benefits include representation at international consultations and events, exchange of information and support of emerging societies and licensing of the Crossed Grain Trademark (CGT) for safe food products easily recognised by people with coeliac disease in Europe.
We also have affiliated members from countries outside of Europe.

Other coeliac societies
In recognition of the fact that coeliac disease affects approximately 1.4% of the global population, AOECS fosters strong partnerships with other relevant organisations both within and outside of Europe. These organisations are not members of AOECS, yet we regard them as important colleagues within the coeliac community. Their contact details are listed below. Please be aware that external links may occasionally change, and we cannot always ensure they remain active.
