Let’s celebrate achievements, spread innovation, and empower the global coeliac community through shared learning and inspiration.
All accepted posters will be published in a special PDF collection - our first ever Global Success Stories Book and the top five posters will be featured at the AOECS Annual Conference in Brussels 17-18 October, 2025.
Later this year, the Global Success Stories Book will be released and launched through AOECS channels.

All National Coeliac Societies worldwide - whether you're an AOECS member or not!
The top five success stories will be featured at the AOECS Annual Conference in Brussels.
Winners will be invited to record a 5–7 minute video for the AOECS website.
All accepted posters will be published in a special PDF collection - our first ever Global Success Stories Book!
Submit abstract hereWhat are we looking for
A success story is a standout initiative, project, or action your society implemented in 2025 (or recently) that made a measurable difference - whether it changed policy, improved diagnosis rates, raised awareness, or strengthened patient support.
Think of it as a story worth sharing, replicating, and celebrating!
This is how you apply and participate
- Submit an abstract (350–400 words) by clicking on the link below.
- If your are selected, please prepare:
- A 1-page poster capturing your country’s success story
- A 7-minute pitch video, pre-recorded so we can share it across our social media channels
- High-resolution visuals (photos, graphs, logos)
- AOECS will provide poster & presentation templates.
- If you are selected among the top 5 we will ask you to join us virtually to our AOECS Annual Conference.
Posters must be in English, suitable for A1 size printing, and original (not previously published or awarded). Projects ideally from 2024–2025, but we accept stories up to 5 years old.
Your poster content must include
- Title + Country Name + “Success Story 2025” (max 25 words)
- Authors & Name of the organisation
- Country Overview (population, coeliac prevalence, diagnosis rate, challenges)
- Highlights of your Success Story
- Measurable impact (e.g. awareness, legislation, diagnosis, patient support)
- Bibliography
- Visuals (submitted separately in high resolution)
Video pitch guidelines
- Length: maximum 7 minutes
- Format: Pre-recorded presentation (PowerPoint or similar, with voiceover or talking head)
- Content: Focus on your success story - what was done, the change it created, and why it matters
Application deadline
Deadline for submission is September 1, 2025. After you have submitted your research, we will contact you to inform you whether your contribution has been accepted.
Key dates:
- 1 September 2025: Abstract Submission Deadline
- 10 September 2025: Notification of Selection
- 17 October 2025: Annual Conference, Brussels
- December 2025: PDF Book Launch

By submitting your abstract, you confirm:
- The content is accurate and approved by all authors.
- You consent to publication in the AOECS Success Stories Book and on our website.
- You grant AOECS the right to share and distribute your content through social media and other channels.
- The presenting author is responsible for all communications and updates.
- Late or incomplete submissions may be excluded.
