E-learn more about coeliac disease

In an international initiative funded by the European Regional Development Fund Interreg, several online courses on coeliac disease have been created.

They are free to partake of. Take the chance and learn more about what celiac disease is and how to deal with the disease. There are also courses for you who are a dietitian or doctor.

One of the main aspects of this project is the development of e-tools, particularly e-learning programs for coeliac patients but also for health care professionals in order to increase the knowledge about this chronic food intolerance.

The project has been a joint effort of among many others, the German coeliac society (Deutsche Zöliakie Gesellschaft e.V.), the Croatian coeliac society (UDRUGA ZA CELIJAKIJU PGŽ RIJEKA), the German Child Health Foundation (Stiftung Kinder Gesundheit) and Interreg Central Europe.

Focus IN CD

The project "Focus IN CD”, which means focus in coeliac disease, aims to substantially improve and harmonize the care of people with celiac disease in Central Europe. Twelve partners from Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, and Slovenia are actively involved in this initiative. 

The intitative was funded by Interreg Central Europe which is a cohesion policy program of the European Union (EU) and part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The program encourages and supports cooperation beyond borders and between public and private organisations.
