Are you living with coeliac disease and aged 18 or over? Here is your chance to help shape the future of health and well-being in Europe. The World Health Organization (WHO) is inviting young people to share their views in a short survey that will help inform its health priorities for 2028–2037.
Coeliac disease is a chronic autoimmune condition and a noncommunicable disease (NCD). As WHO develops its next European Strategy on NCDs, health promotion and well-being, it is important that the experiences and needs of people living with coeliac disease are part of the discussion.
The WHO Regional Office for Europe, together with the WHO Collaborating Centre for Youth Participation in Health Governance at the Institute for Health and Environment in Slovenia, has launched a survey to better understand young people's health priorities, the challenges they face and the actions they believe deserve greater attention.
Just 10–15 minutes to make a difference
AOECS encourages young people with coeliac disease to seize this opportunity to make their voices heard. By sharing your experiences and priorities, you can help ensure that the needs of people living with coeliac disease are considered in discussions about Europe's future health strategy.
The survey is open to people aged 18 and over living in the WHO European Region. No medical knowledge or professional background in healthcare is required.
Responses will inform a regional youth consultation on 19 November 2026 and contribute to WHO's strategy-development process.
The deadline is 1 November 2026.
